Greetings and salutations low-carbers! We have something really special to share today on “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore”–an interview with the president of the online low-carb retailer CarbSmart named Andrew DiMino.

Jimmy and Andrew discuss the current state of affairs in the “low-carb industry,” look at where it has been, and give an exciting glance into the future for low-carb products. In fact, we learn that CarbSmart may be reviving some of our favorite low-carbohydrate foods that are not being manufactured anymore. Sweet!

Be sure to visit the CarbSmart web site so you can catch up on what they are doing at the place that brought you Breyer’s gourmet CarbSmart ice cream and many other quality low-carb products!

Great interview! and great to hear from such a successful and undaunted low-carb voice as Andy Demino. This guy knows what he is doing and how to do it, and has his low-carb values in the right place, not just trying to make a buck. He is definitely someone we should all support. I hope we will hear more from him in the future.

I argue that marketing ventures should NOT give up on the term low-carb, the term is being fully vindicated as the research supporting low-carb continues to steadily accumulate. Any trends against this term are based on misinformation, so why surrender to society’s lack of understanding? We should stand firm in defense of all things low-carb.

We have nothing to be ashamed of - rather, it is the naysayers who deserve shame for promoting dangerous and unhealthy medical untruths. The research is slowly revealing these medical posers and imposters for what they are.

It is also good to hear that CarbSmart is reviving some great low-carb products which were discontinued for so many unfounded reasons.

I was very glad to listen to this podcast. Thank you for it.

I eat low carb foods for a different reason. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Diabetes. This was at a time when there were LOTS of low carb products available. And it made the very difficult task of adjusting to a new lifestyle MUCH easier.

But then the crash came and companies stopped producing their products and it was very frustrating, to say the least. As sad as it is to say it, there are more and more people developing Type II diabetes and we HAVE to live this kind of lifestyle. Why these companies didn’t just change focus and continue producing their products for this HUGE market out here is something I will never understand.

But I am VERY grateful to places like CarbSmart for contining to sell and actively market these items not just for the low carb dieter, but for the rest of us in the world who need and want to use them as well.

Thank you for allowing me to share this!

THANK YOU again for your feedback and we hope you will listen to future podcasts, too. :D
