    I discovered that I had a magnesium deficiency through information that I read in Dr. McCleary’s book “The Brain Trust Program”. I get headaches often. Before low carbing, I was a victim of migraines. After I began low carbing my migraines vanished. But I would still get headaches. Dr. McLeary’s book presented the consideration that mag deficiency could cause headaches. So I took some magnesium for a standard headache and to my surprise, my headache stopped…as if I had taken a tylenol. So, I began researching magnesium with my focuse on diabetes. I was amazed to discover that low mag could very well be ther root cause of diabetes. So I increased my regularity with taking magnesium and my glucose numbers came down.     Wow Mary, thank you for your comment. I have headaches every day. They wake me up at 3 or 4 am. “The Brain Trust Program” sounds like something I need.       Lynn, you might want to Google: Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Magnesium Deficiency. While I couldn’t't find a dedicated research study to this condition, it is listed repeatedly in articles describing “magnesium deficiency” symptoms. I have now read & assimilated 380 articles on Mg deficiency and have categorized them along 18 different diseases & conditions. Trust me, there is not one so-called chronic disease in America that doesn’t have Mg deficiency at its origin. The deep dark secret of illness in America… Be sure to have your Mg RBC levels checked to determine what stage of deficiency you’re working from. Most people are now 3rd or 4th generation on mineral deficiency. Best of luck in your recovery…
