Hello and welcome back to The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore!

Is our current obesity epidemic the result of a fat-phobic “nocebo effect?” Huh? What is a nocebo and what are its effects? So glad you asked that question!

Biochemist Dr. Marhall Deutsch is ready to fill you in on his research into the fallacy of the “fat hypothesis” of obesity and how fear of dietary lipids may be driving a sort of reverse-placebo effect to cause obesity. Far out, or likely fact? Listen in and decide for yourself!

“And just as squirrels would not thrive on peanut-flavored sawdust, we cannot thrive on foods which lack the nutrients we need but mimic their palatability.” – Marshall E. Deutsch

What an awesome observation. Really sums up the refined food industry, huh?!

    Great Interview,

Looks like what we told about cholesterol is the same as what we are told about fat. For both the opposite is true. Just like the food pyramid which is completely upside down.

Countries with the highest cholesterol numbers have the lowest rate of heart disease.
