431: ‘Encore Week’ 2011: Chris Masterjohn

Chris Masterjohn rocks it again for “Encore Week” 2011!

Welcome to Day 3 of our annual “Encore Week,” presented in 2011 by CarbSmart.com. Every January, we start off with fresh, new interviews featuring the most interesting and popular guests from the previous year, as selected by YOU. And this “Encore Week” 2011 celebrating the best of the best from 2010 is one of the most spectacular ones we have ever had! We’ve already heard from the great Dr. Robert Lustig on Monday and the lovely Denise Minger on Tuesday. We still have fabulous interviews coming up the amazing Dr. Kurt Harris and the one-man-machine Robb Wolf later in the week.

Today we have for you a brand new interview with the brilliant Chris Masterjohn. He is one of the most talented young stars in the field of nutritional health who is currently working on his doctorate and is one of the chief science bloggers for the Weston A. Price Foundation explaining complex diet and health concepts in such a way to make them understandable by the general public. There are a ton of listener questions for Chris and he doesn’t dissappoint, especially with a ferocious tear into The China Study. You won’t want to miss this riveting episode full of great insights and lots of fun discussion!

    Great interview. :)

Thanks, Jimmy, for asking Chris my question about what he eats these days, and thank you Chris for answering in detail! Sounds great. :)

Pure Indian Foods ghee is delicious! I use the unflavored kind, and sometimes take a taste of it right from the jar.

Thank goodness for some sense in eating. I am so pleased to hear that I can drink properly brewed beer in moderation, have a slice of (my favourite Vic’s organic) sourdough and feel pretty good about eating those amazing Jersey Bennies (early crop spuds) that we so lovingly grow in our garden. Whew. Thanks a lot Chris.
