Another great podcast Jimmy!!! I have listened to it today and plan on making my mother (I’m still tryin there!) listen also.
Her ‘latest reason’ for not going low carb despite high cholesterol, high waist measurement, sugar addiction and cancer is that it’s only American doctors who believe in low carb!! So far I have told her about Dr. John Biffta and Dr. Barry Groves in the U.K. but now she wants to know of a doctor in Ireland!!!! So if you ever come over one on your travels let me know!!!
It is hard to watch those we love not doing low carb just because the establishment is against it. So shows like this further my cause in tryingt o convert her,
I’m working on doing podcast interviews with BOTH Dr. Briffa and Dr. Groves in the coming months, so stay tuned! I don’t know of a doctor in Ireland, but there is an excellent blogger named Mark McManus who runs the “Muscle Hack” blog and is an avid low-carber. The tide is turning here in America–STAY ENCOURAGED!
