Karly is fantastic and I’m so glad you interviewed her Jimmy. I can’t wait to hear part 2! I highly recommend her e-book. It’s a fantastic tool for overcoming sugar addiction.

And her whole philosophy about life is a refreshing change, too, Amy. First Ourselves really encapsulates everything that Karly believes in and stands for.

Great interview…looking forward to part 2. I agree 100% that just one “piece” will throw us back into the sugar addiction. It’s wonderful to be free from it, but like Karly, I have had such a hard time staying away from ALL of it ALL the time. Hopefully it won’t take me 10 years to do it! All the help you give certainly keeps me motivated and heading in the right direction. Thanks so much!

Great interview, Jimmy! I listened to the whole thing, but didn’t hear specific instructions on how to get her e-book. Maybe I missed something???

Can’t wait until part #2!!

Linda Pickett (15:02:27) :

I totally agree with Karly. You need to take care of yourself in order to help others. Take time for yourself during the day; take a walk, just sit and mediatate, breathe deep. Treat yourself to a mani/pedi. Go for a massage. Try that new hairstyle/color! Go window shopping. Read a book/magazine. Pop in your ipod and dance.Exercise.Cuddle.Daydream.

Hey Taiwan gal! If you click on the link in the show notes for this podcast, then it takes you to the page on Karly’s site to get the free e-book. :)

It’s so hard, Linda, to think about yourself when you give give give. But Karly is EXACTLY right that it is those people who need to take time for themselves first so they can do what they love to do–give out of the love of their heart.

Well done, Jimmy!

As a recovered alcoholic I am all too aware of the “phenomenon of craving” which means that when I have one drink (M&M, brownie, whatever) I have an overpowering urge to have another. I haven’t had a drink in over 9 years, but this sugar/carb is still a baffling thing.
I really appreciate Karly’s honesty. One of the worst freelings is to feel alone in your trouble. I am looking forward to part two.

Thanks,
-Keith
