Jimmy Moore Interviews Dr. Dean Ornish, Part 1 (Episode 95)
22 10 2007

Head to head, Jimmy Moore and Dr. Dean Ornish
Hello and welcome to the 95th episode of the Internet’s most listened to and respected low-carb podcast, “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore.”
Today (and coming up this Thursday, as well) we have a rare treat: an audio interview with the man many consider the king of the low-fat diet gurus–Dr. Dean Ornish. As it turns out, Dr. Ornish really doesn’t like to focus on the low-fat label and is more interested in telling Jimmy why he’s misunderstood. You’ll be interested in how much some of his plans have in common with the Atkins approach. Well…from his perspective, anyway.
We have to thank Dr. Ornish for agreeing to speak with Jimmy and trusting him to present his ideas in a straightforward and uncensored way. No doubt there’s a lot to contemplate in this interview, so please be sure to share your thoughts in the comment section! And don’t forget to come back on Thursday for Part 2.

Jimmy, you are a saint to sit through an interview with Dr. Ornish. I still think his plan is Dr. Atkins maintenance minus the FATTy foods; low carb has veggies, fruit and yes eventually whole grains in moderation if your body can handle it.Long live the work of Dr. Robert C. Atkins!!! Thank you for letting others know about his work in low carbing. I will try to listen to part 2 if I can stomach his flip flopping.
