In today’s Episode 132, our host Jimmy talks with TV health personality and fungal infection expert Doug Kaufmann. Doug has a fascinating take on why Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb works so well for both weight loss and general health improvement: It’s because carbs feed the parasitic fungi that many of us live with…undiagnosed! [EWWWWW!]

Doug makes some rather compelling arguments for why and how fungus accounts for disorders such as high blood pressure, cancer and so much more. Be sure to listen in and share your thoughts in the comments section below!

Great show - there is so much good information out - I feel as though I have hit pay dirt with your site Jimmy
Just recently I had to take my dog to the vet for an annual check up and while I was waiting I had a look at a chart up on the wall and it said that if an animal had cancer take it off all carbs ! Had no idea why that was until now
I suffered with acne, sinus and asthma as a child - one of the walls in my bedroom had damp and nobody could seem to fix it back then. Acne long since has cleared but I still have asthma and sinus - I am noticing an improvement since I have been on low carb and figured it was a yeast problem. I would very much like to fix up so it no longers is a problem in my life
Thanks once again for the show Jimmy

THANKS Helena! I’m so glad to have you here. :) If people realized that livin’ la vida low-carb is about so much more than simple weight loss, then there would be a riot. The health benefits are why just about everyone should at least TRY the low-carb lifestyle.

Great job on the interview, Jimmy. It’s just amazing what a low carb eating program can do for your health as well as weight loss. I bet most people go on low carb just for losing weight and don’t realize the many health benefits.

Keep up the good work!

This is not really a question of “fungus” per say…it’s yeast, which may in fact be a fungus. I was put on a strict “candita” (spelling?) diet and people said I never looked worse. It’s tricky when a malady can not be proven by an easy blood test.
