Hello and welcome back for another interview with one of the new breed of maverick doctors and healthcare professionals who are finally coming out of the woodwork to advocate the healthy, low-carbohydrate lifestyle. We are pleased to share these fine people with you each week here at The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore!
Listen in today for Jimmy’s great interview with Dr. Michael Burglund, a Kenosha, Wisconsin-based chiropractor who studied chiropractic medicine in order to become a “natural-minded family doctor.” As such he takes an interest in the blood work of his patients and offers some interesting insights on LDL as it relates to other markers.
And, of course he adds his voice to the growing chorus of medical practitioners who claim that Tim Russert’s untimely death earlier this year was not only totally foreseeable, but quite preventable. Listen in to hear Dr. Berglund’s take on where the mind of Tim Russert’s doctor may have been focused and why traditional medical school graduates continue to miss the “big picture” of their patients’ dietary health.

Hello and welcome back to the Internet’s hottest destination for all the facts on the healthy low-carb lifestyle here at The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore!
Today, Jimmy talks with MuscleHack.com blogger Mark McManus. Mark is a bodybuilder from Ireland whose training table features a high-fat, low-carb eating regimen. WOO HOO!
Mark began his carb-conscious path with a low-glycemic (but high-carb) diet that he said left him “skinny but with a gut.” After changing to a ketogenic diet through discovering the Anabolic Diet by Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale, he learned how to “muscle up” without the pot belly. His physique has radically improved ever since and now he’s helping others shape and mold their bodies into the tip-top condition they were meant to be.
Listen in for this great interview and for details about our listener survey where we’re asking YOU to pick our best-ever guest that you’d like to hear more from in a follow-up interview (but don’t hold your breath for Heidi Diaz or Dr. Dean Ornish!)!

Welcome back for another in-depth examination of the world of carb-controlled medicine and its practitioners here at The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore.
In the conclusion of Jimmy’s two-part interview with Dr. William Davis the discussion of small LDL continues and then turns to the untimely tragic death of television journalist Tim Russert earlier this year. Dr. Davis asserts that Russert fully complied with his doctor’s instruction, which ultimately caused his death–a death that could have been predicted a decade ago and also could have easily been prevented through simple dietary changes including carbohydrate restriction.
Listen in for all this and much, much Moore! Don’t forget to leave us a review at iTunes to help continue to spread the message of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore” to a new audience of listeners. THANK YOU!
