Head to head, Jimmy Moore and Dr. Dean Ornish
Hello and welcome to the 95th episode of the Internet’s most listened to and respected low-carb podcast, “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore.”
Today (and coming up this Thursday, as well) we have a rare treat: an audio interview with the man many consider the king of the low-fat diet gurus–Dr. Dean Ornish. As it turns out, Dr. Ornish really doesn’t like to focus on the low-fat label and is more interested in telling Jimmy why he’s misunderstood. You’ll be interested in how much some of his plans have in common with the Atkins approach. Well…from his perspective, anyway.
We have to thank Dr. Ornish for agreeing to speak with Jimmy and trusting him to present his ideas in a straightforward and uncensored way. No doubt there’s a lot to contemplate in this interview, so please be sure to share your thoughts in the comment section! And don’t forget to come back on Thursday for Part 2.

Introducing Sat and Trans: The Bad Fat Brothers.
They are the AHA’s latest anti-fat propaganda monkeys!
Hello and welcome to the Internet’s longest running and best beloved low-carb podcast–“The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show With Jimmy Moore!”
In this week’s first episode (come back on Thursday for more!), our host Jimmy introduces you to the perfectly awful team of Sat and Trans–aka The Bad Fat Brothers. Have you seen or heard them yet? They are a pair of cartoon characters that parade a long list of foods guaranteed to stop your heart dead in its tracks - mostly very high-carb foods - and then tell you that the fats in these dishes are what makes them deadly!
Um, isn’t the main ingredient in a “loaded baked potato” a potato…with tons of carbohydrates? Isn’t the main ingredient in a donut, errrrrr, the very carby dough?!?!?
Listen in to today’s show as Jimmy serves up a healthy, steaming portion of public scorn for this incredibly shallow propaganda campaign from the American Heart Association!

Hello and welcome to Episode 92 of the Internet’s most controversial, CAN’T MISS low-carb podcast show, it’s “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore!”
Today’s episode is in two parts:
First, our host Jimmy and his lovely wife Christine discuss a reader’s question about the use of carbohydrate-restriction to overcome such mental health concerns as OCD (Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder), Depression and Anxiety Attacks. Since Christine has suffered from these over the past few years prior to beginning her low-carb lifestyle in May 2007, this was quite an illuminating conversation that many will benefit from.
Then, Jimmy follows up with Heidi “Kimmer” Diaz, attempting to ask questions about a recent KTLA-TV exposé on her diet and her allegedly current morbid obesity. Does she have any answers? Will she even acknowledge that she knows who Jimmy Moore is? Listen in for the straight poop right from the horse’s mouth! You’re not gonna believe this until you hear it!

Hello and welcome to the ninety-first episode of the Internet’s most frequently listened to low-carb podcast–“The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show With Jimmy Moore!” Remember, four out of five gastroenterologists recommend this podcast to their clients who chew gum (or something like that!).
This week, our host Jimmy Moore asks you to envision a utopian society in the far-off future where the government and self-appointed diet and health “experts” demonize carbohydrates and encourage a healthy, balanced diet with ample fats! Could this actually come to pass? We think so, but it will be a blessing if we live long enough to see it!
Listen in for Jimmy’s take on the future of nutritional recommendations.
